Can you take the fenix 5 out of its package and still get a full refund? Absolutely. We actually encourage you to try it out to see how you like it!
The only thing we ask is that you return the item in good condition and with everything that originally came with the product (that's where our Play Nice Policy comes in).

Should you decide you want to return your Garmin fenix 5 for a refund, we ask that you do you utmost to ensure it's in good condition.
Does that mean unopened or unused? Absolutely not. We want you to try out the product. But it does mean unscratched, unblemished and with all accessories (charging cables, extra bands) that were originally included with the product.
Our lenient return policy is intended to provide customers the opportunity to try out the Garmin fenix 5 product risk-free and see if it fits their lifestyle. It is not meant to be abused.
With that said, we reserve the right to charge a return fee to any customers who abuse this policy.
